Functional Brain Imaging
One of the challenges involved in setting up an MRI or MEG research facility is recording subject responses. All of the materials placed in proximity to a subject must be non-magnetic, and ideally should contain no metal at all. Our RESPONSEPixx/MRI button boxes are constructed of 100% plastic components. Their button states are encoded onto fiber optic bundles which pass completely out of the magnet room before being converted to TTL signals. Once inside the control room, button transitions can be timetagged with microsecond precision by our DATAPixx hardware.
